On Sunday 7th of August 2022 at 11.30 Jon and Guy started the infamous London Edinburgh London Cycle Event – over 1500 kilometres (932 miles) to ride between the 2 cities and back in under 125 hours, not surprising it is classed as the UK’s toughest Audax – It’s so tough it is only held once every four years!

No stranger to the long rides having completed the Super Randonneur series again this year for the second time – completing a 200k (125 miles), 300k (186 miles), 400k (248 miles) and 600k (372 miles) event rides in a season.. Jon took it one step further this year by undertaking and completing the 400k’s solo around 20 hours each.

It was an absolutely incredible event – the route was stunning and the volunteers and organisers on the way were just amazing.. It was brutally tough with the minimum of sleep and was just non stop but we managed to complete it in 118 hours…

We also managed to raise a good chunk of money for two incredible charities very close to our hearts – Multiple Sclerosis and Prostate Cancer.
