London Edinburgh London
On Sunday 7th of August 2022 at 11.30 Jon and Guy started the infamous London Edinburgh London Cycle Event – over 1500 kilometres (932 miles) to ride between the 2 cities and back in under 125 hours, not surprising it is classed as the UK’s toughest Audax – It’s so tough it is only held once every four years! No stranger to the long rides having completed the Super Randonneur series again this year for the second time – completing a 200k (125 miles), 300k (186 miles), 400k (248 miles) and 600k (372 miles) event rides in a season.. Jon took it one step further this year by undertaking and completing the 400k’s solo around 20 hours each. It was an absolutely incredible event – the route was stunning and the volunteers and organisers on the way were just amazing.. It was brutally tough with the minimum of sleep and was just non stop but we managed to complete it in 118 hours… We also managed to raise a good chunk of money for two incredible charities very close to our hearts – Multiple Sclerosis and Prostate Cancer. https://www.justgiving.com/team/jonandguylondonedinburghlondon22

Hmmm… So much chocolate!
Recently we were involved in an exciting chocolatey project to design a promotional box and sleeve to be sent out full of chocolates goodies. With an office full of chocolate, so far, so good, the boxes need to be packed with various chocolate items and sent to various locations in the UK. We at designhabit have never refused an opportunity to work with chocolate and subsequently for the next week or so our offices had more chocolate delivered to us than Willy Wonkas factory! Surrounded by chocolate and temptation from all sides we endeavored to pack and fulfill the delivery of the designed boxes to over 300 addresses around the UK. Santa would have been proud.. all perfectly created and delivered by the deadline!

GVH running club – new branding and kit
Keeping healthy is part of our ethos at designhabit, so when Jon’s running club, Gade Valley Harriers wanted a swanky new branding and kit designed for them, we ran to their rescue and designed new branding and some awesome new kit. The clothing was well received and with go faster stripes incorporated into the design, it should make them get to the pub quicker at least.

The grass is always greener…
You’ve heard of the saying “The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence” well in this case it’s all true. Last Lawn Scotland needed a fresh website and design route to inspire people to ditch the grass and go for hassle free artificial lawns. We sat back in our garden chairs and created some eye catching designs. We have also produced a number of print items for Last Lawn to promote their grass.
